England cricketer Jos Buttler One of the world’s biggest hitters

Jos Buttler has been a key man for England in all forms of cricket since making his T20I debut in 2011. Having come through the ranks at Somerset, he now plays for Lancashire and has also starred for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League and the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

About me

"The game is about scoring runs."

Jos set his sights on becoming an international cricketer after witnessing India’s batsmen run riot against Sri Lanka in the 1999 World Cup at Taunton. He has gone on to make plenty of runs himself.

  • Jos has the three fastest ODI centuries by an English batsmen.
  • His quickest came when he reached three figures in just 46 balls in England’s victory over Pakistan in 2015.
  • It is the seventh fastest ODI century of all time.

One of the most destructive players in the game

Jos made his T20 bow for England in 2011. Whatever the colour the ball is, me trying to hit the ball is going to get the best out of myself. Jos made his T20 bow for England in 2011, making his ODI debut against Pakistan the following year, and he has gone on to prove a pivotal figure in white-ball cricket. Jos made his first Test appearance for England in 2014.
